Poetry of Heart
Your Memory Echoes
Where did they go, the flowers of Spring?...
The bright and lively hues,
Reflections of thoughts deep and true.
Was it the clouds that darkened the sky
Encasing the warm rays of the sun?

Where went the stars at night,
To hide behind the moon?
Too afraid to witness a tragedy of errors
Being played upon the ground.
Knew they well, and long before I,
That I had lost my heart forevermore,
Knowing I could not forget, nor set aside.
Yet no warning could they bestow
That I would love you with my entire being
And still have to let you go.

Could they not foresee the difficulties
I would find, in trying to set such feelings free
When such sweet memories of you
Echo throughout every aspect of me?
