Tell me that you love me,
And cannot live without me,
As the shores cannot live without
The tides of the rolling sea.
Tell me you want me in your arms,
And will never let me go,
As earth in the depths of winter
Holds to the soft white snow.
Tell me you're yearning for my kiss,
And a longing that will not away,
As the oceans must touch the sand
In dark of every night, and light of every day.
Tell me you want me to be your life,
And need me to make you whole,
As the moon would without the stars
Be lost without her completing soul.
Tell me that you must have me forever,
And have it be endlessly true,
As I need you to complete me;
That much is my love for you.
